Spain Student Visa Step 1: Background Check + Waiting

While my last post addressed getting the background check for the Spain student visa, this post comes after I have finished the aforementioned process. I went and got fingerprinted, bought my money order, and sent off my package to the FBI channeler so I can get my check back. For this second order, I chose to expedite the shipping because of how long I’ve read the Apostille process having taken. Given that I’d rather pay the $14 for rush processing than the $39.95 for a whole new background check, it seems worth it. I mailed the package on Friday and today received an email from the company alerting me it was in processing. I will post more as the process continues! For now, the best thing this process has done for me is develop my patience. There’s a lot of waiting involved but with exciting promises to come.
